The Reconstruction Plan for Paris’s Notre Dame Is Receiving Criticism — Here’s Why. – It has been three years since the famous cathedral suffered major damage due to a fire. While they are rebuilding Notre Dame, they are making significant changes which many people (including me) are upset about. I don’t like how they are trying to modernize it. Its charm and beauty were in the historical nature of the building without being overly accommodative to tourists. I think they’re going about this wrong. What do you think?
CLEAR and Uber Partner to Help Make Travel More Predictable with “Home to Gate” App Integration. – CLEAR continues to innovate and improve the experience for travelers. I love how they use technology to make it easy to book a ride for the right time to get you to your flight on time. I wonder if there’s a way to add some buffer time if you want to hang in the lounge for a little while before your flight? For a free 2-month trial of CLEAR, use my referral link.
Traveling With a Baby Changes the Way You Vacation—and That’s Okay. – Traveling with children changes the experience in so many ways. In some ways, it is much worse – they’re fussy, need to rest, and can’t go into every environment. But, I love traveling with my children and really enjoy seeing the destinations through their lens. It’s magical watching their expressions as they realize all of the good and bad there is about travel.

And, you get the added bonus of hurting the competition. Plus, travelers that love that hotel location will most likely switch to your brand to earn points for their stays. Sounds like a winning strategy, right?
How Airports Are Using Biometrics so You Can Spend Less Time Waiting in Lines. – Travelers aren’t the only ones that hate long airport security lines. It creates a bottleneck that causes passengers to miss their flights, and even when they don’t miss their flights, there’s less time for them to buy food, drinks, and souvenirs from the airport shops. So, airports and airlines have a vested interest in helping us get through security faster.
