The Morning Shave

Spirit’s new strategy: Be a less terrible airline. – Spirit is doing a lot of things right. However, the things they are doing right (ie: arriving on time, having decent customer service) are basic expectations, not something that you should be given an award for. Their loyalty program is still horrible and you’re SOL if they cancel or delay a flight. They might be ok in a pinch, but they have a long way to go before I would think of them first (or second) when planning a vacation.

Why You Should Plan a Trip With Your Mother Every Year. – Most parents don’t want or need anything for Christmas or birthdays as they get older. The best present that you can give them are special memories and the chance to spend more time together. Don’t let these opportunities pass you by.

18 Easy Ways to Have a Better Flight. – Simple, yet effective tips to improve your next flight experience. I like the golf ball idea to massage my feet. But, with my luck, it would roll to the back of the aircraft. HAHA

Many Consumers Don’t Want to Fly the 737 Max When it Returns. – Between the mechanical problems, Boeing’s lackluster initial response, and the FAA’s seemingly unwillingness to ground the plane when problems were apparent, it is no wonder that travelers won’t trust the 737-MAX for a long time… if ever.

Delusion: Hotels Think Guests Like Mandatory Fees. – Now, this is just ridiculous. Why would any traveler like to get charged extra fees that are generally not transparent during the booking process?
