Join us on Sunday, May 7th, for our monthly Nashville travel meetup May 2023 edition. This month’s Music City Miles & Points meetup is at 6th & Peabody in Nashville. Spring is here, and the weather can be unpredictable. Come hang out with us to enjoy the warm weather (hopefully).

Music City Miles and Points Facebook Group

If you live in the Nashville area or come here regularly, please join the Music City Miles & Points Facebook Group. We talk about all things travel in the Nashville area. In this group, you’ll also be able to RSVP for events and be the first to hear about local events, special deals, and other interesting news.

Nashville Travel Meetup May 2023 at 6th & Peabody

The forecast calls for warm weather but also the possibility of thunderstorms. Worst case, there’s plenty of seating inside! Stop by for some frosty beverages, tasty moonshine and delicious food while we chat about travel. Our Nashville travel meetup for May 2023 is at 6th & Peabody, near The Gulch area of Nashville, TN.

6th & Peabody is located at 423 6th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203. And it’s literally at the corn of 6th Avenue and Peabody Street. It’s one block from Korean Veterans Blvd and a couple of blocks south of Broadway. For those who are familiar, it’s near the traffic circle by the Westin Nashville.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge since it’s so close to downtown. But there’s paid parking across the street.

Food and drink options

The meetup will be Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 6 pm. We expect to hang out for 2 to 3 hours, so don’t worry if you can’t arrive early. 6th & Peabody is a collaboration between Yee-Haw Brewing Co. and Ole Smoky Distillery. Guests can order from White Duck Taco Shop or Daddy’s Dogs, so there’s something for everyone.

Bring your favorite dining credit card to earn bonus points on food and drink orders!

And, of course, you can purchase cans of beer and jars of moonshine to add to your home collection.

Ole Smoky offers moonshine tastings for $10. Reservations are not required, so you can just walk up to the bar and get started. Tastings include seven samples of moonshine and a 9 oz beer. Plus, you get a coupon for $10 off merchandise, which basically means you just got free drinks! What a great deal. The last time we visited 6th & Peabody, we did a tasting and enjoyed all of the drinks.

RSVP for Nashville Travel Meetup May 2023 – Sunday 5/7

If you plan to join us this weekend, please RSVP on Meetup or in our Facebook group.

We plan on arriving a little before 6 pm to grab some tables. RSVP so that we have a good estimate of how many seats to save.

Thanks!

Are kids or dogs allowed at the Nashville travel meetup?

Feel free to bring your kids because it’s “family-friendly all the time!” Anna & I will be bringing our kids (but they’ll prob be on their electronics the whole time.)

Dogs are also welcome at 6th & Peabody, so feel free to bring your dog. However, they are only allowed outside in the Beer Garden. So, if it rains, you won’t be able to bring them inside.

Can I use the Hop Passport at 6th & Peabody?

The Hop Passport is one of my favorite ways to save on drinks when I explore local breweries. Passholders receive 50% off their first two beers at participating breweries.

Unfortunately, although you can find Yeehaw beers at 6th & Peabody, the do not accept the Hop Passport. There are plenty of other great Tennessee breweries that do. You can save 20% off your digital or paper passport using the code “BALD” at checkout.

Upcoming miles & points meetups

We’re still working out the details for the next meetups this summer, but here are the details we have so far:

  • Saturday, June 3rd at 2 pm – The Tin Roof (Nashville Downtown)
  • Saturday, July 22nd at 2 pm – SandBar Nashville (Near Centennial Park)
  • Saturday, August 12th at 2 pm – Cedar City Brewing (Lebanon, TN)

If you have any suggestions for local restaurants, bars, breweries, or other attractions that would be ideal for our meetups, please send me an email or social media DM. Thanks!

The Bald Thoughts about the Nashville Travel Meetup May 2023
