Join us this Saturday, February 29th for our monthly Nashville travel meetup. This month we’ll be at the Bavarian Bierhaus located inside the Opry Mills Mall. We look forward to seeing you this Saturday for our Music City Miles & Points meetup.

When is the Nashville travel meetup?

We hold our meetups every month. The dates vary based on our availability with work, family, and travel. Based on feedback from the Music City Miles & Points Facebook group, we’re rotating meetings between Thursdays and Saturdays.

The February 2020 meetup in on Saturday, February 29th at 1 pm. You can come and go as you please, but we plan on being there for about 2 hours.

Please RSVP to let us know that you’re coming so we can save you a seat. You must be a member of our Facebook group to RSVP and see the event details page.

Special guest from Simon Malls

This month, we’re having a special guest from Simon Malls attend for a question-and-answer period. I’ve submitted questions from the group ahead of time, but there will also be an opportunity to ask questions in person.

She will arrive at 1:30 pm. Please arrive early enough to grab a seat and order food and drinks before she begins talking.

Is there a charge to attend?

There is no charge to attend. However, you will have to pay for your own food and drinks. I suggest that you bring your favorite credit card that earns bonus points on dining. This way you’ll be earning more rewards towards your next trip. If you need a new card, click here for the latest credit card offers.

Can I bring friends or family with me?

Of course. We welcome more people into the Music City Miles & Points community. Please have them join the free Facebook group so that they’ll get advance notice of events and the ability to ask questions of people in our group.

Is it kid-friendly?

Yes. I will be bringing my kids (ages 5 and 9), so other kids are welcome as well. Obviously, this isn’t a kid’s restaurant like Chuck E Cheese, so we don’t want kids running around and disturbing the wait staff or other guests. My kids will have their iPads and other things to occupy them so that they’re on their best behavior.

Where is the Nashville travel meetup?

Each month, we try to visit someplace new in the Nashville area. This month’s meetup is located at the Bavarian Bierhaus inside the Opry Mills Mall. The address is 121 Opry Mills Drive, Nashville, TN 37214.

Parking is free, but it could be crowded on a Saturday. Park on the West side of the mall to minimize your walk.

What kind of food does the Bavarian Bierhaus serve?

The Bavarian Bierhaus is a German-style pub with traditional German food and drinks. I’ve tried several of their sausages and you can’t leave without sharing a huge pretzel with your friends. Of course, they also serve beer in massive beer steins.

The Bald Thoughts

I love how our Nashville travel community continues to grow. We have local members as well as people driving from both ends of Tennessee to join us each month. We’re still working on the March date, so please join the Music City Miles & Point Facebook group to be among the first to know when our next meetup is.
