Hilton and Hallmark Open “Countdown to Christmas” Suites.

Hilton is partnering with Hallmark to get travelers in the holiday spirit. No, they’re not just putting a Mariah Carey Christmas album (affiliate link) on repeat. They’re decorating suites, offering holiday treats and more so you can embrace your inner Elf for Christmas. I think these promos are an excellent idea for families with small kids (or for adults who are kids at heart).

Flying Blue Adds New Limits On Rollover XPs.

Air France and KLM FlyingBlue is one of my favorite rewards programs for flights to Europe. Although I don’t have elite status with them, their program has been very popular among travelers. Unfortunately, they’re limited how many rollover XPs members can push from one year to the next.

Like many hotel loyalty programs, Marriott eliminated its award chart and moved to dynamic pricing. The unfriendly policy makes it hard to know how many points you’ll need to book a trip until your travel dates are confirmed. Although this secret award chart isn’t 100% accurate, it gives you a good idea of what rooms will cost so you can plan ahead.
