We’re excited to see everyone this Saturday for the Nashville travel meetup July 2021 edition. It will be held at the Yazoo Taproom on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 1 pm for an afternoon of travel talk and delicious beers. This month we’re delighted to have MedJet as a sponsor. Please RSVP below to let us know you’re coming.

Nashville Travel Meetup July 2021 at Yazoo Taproom

We hold monthly travel meetups of Music City Miles & Points at various bars and restaurants around the Nashville area. It gives us a chance to try out new spots while supporting local businesses. And, it’s awesome that our friends from the Nashville chapter of Travel Massive will also be joining us this month!

This month’s meetup is at the Yazoo Taproom on Saturday, July 31st at 1 pm. It is located at 900 River Bluff Drive, Madison, TN 37115.

What does the Yazoo Taproom have to offer?

The Yazoo Taproom is a beautiful facility overlooking the Cumberland River. It has ample seating inside and outside with a nice terrace to enjoy the fresh air.

Inside, you can order fresh-brewed craft beers from their rotating menu of brews. Yazoo also offers sour and wild ales for those with more exotic tastes.

There is a small selection of food that you can order at the Yazoo Taproom, like chips & salsa, pita chips & hummus, hot dogs, and soft pretzels. Food trucks often set up shop as well so that you can get something a little more filling or that has a little more pizzazz. Of course, you can always order food to be delivered by Uber Eats if you want something else.

And, if you find something that you like, you can always grab bottles, cans, growlers, crowlers, or kegs to take home with you. Yazoo’s flagship beers are always available and some seasonal brews may be available during our visit.

Because seating can be limited right now, we need to have a good estimate of how many people are planning to attend. Please join the Music City Miles & Points Facebook Group to RSVP there or you can use our Music City Miles & Points Meetup.com Group if you prefer.

There is no cost to attend our event on Saturday, July 31st at 1 pm. Everyone is welcome, including kids. My kids are 6 and 10, and they will be there (most likely glued to their iPads).

Big thanks to MedJet for agreeing for having a tab at the bar so our guests can enjoy some Yazoo’s finest craft beers for free. The tab is limited, so please show up early to ensure that you’ll get to participate! And, as always, bring some $1s to tip the servers who are working hard while we have all the fun.

Get 50% off your first two beers with Hop Passport

I love a great deal and the Hop Passport delivers! The Hop Passport is a membership program that gives you 50% off your first two beers at participating breweries throughout the country. It offers memberships for the state, the region, and the entire country.

The Tennessee Hop Passport is only $20 per year when you use the promo code “BALD” to save 20% off (normally $25). You can order a physical passport or a digital one. Or, be like me and order both since they’re so affordable. This way, you can get 4 beers for the price of 2! Because we have four beers to try at every brewery, Anna and I can choose a variety of beers to see what we like best.

And, of course, the Hop Passport works at Yazoo Taproom.

Nashville Travel Meetup Sponsored by MedJet

Now that I’m traveling again, I recently signed my family up for a MedJet membership. They’re an air medical transport and travel security membership program that offers benefits that most travel insurance policies lack.

While travel insurance “medical evacuation” benefits will get you to the nearest hospital for treatment, MedJet gets you to your hospital at home. It’s an affordable membership that provides valuable protection while traveling for you and your family. Plus, they just announced that they are now transporting for COVID-19 globally.

We’ll cover some of the basics during our meetup, but you can use my referral link to visit MedJet to learn more and find out how much it cost to join.

The Bald Thoughts

I’m really excited to see everyone again at the Nashville Travel Meetup July 2021 event. I’ve been able to travel a bit recently and am looking forward to my upcoming trips. It will be good to share my travels and learn about yours while we chat about what’s new in the world of miles and points and enjoy some delicious beers.

Big thanks to my friend Sheri at MedJet for sponsoring our event. The first round (or two) of drinks are covered for our attendees, so please be sure to RSVP (Facebook or Meetup.com) so that you’ll be on the list.
