A quick reminder that you’re invited to join us this Thursday for our monthly Nashville travel meetup. This month we’re meeting at Five Points Pizza in East Nashville. They offer New York-style pies and tasty craft brews in a comfy neighborhood setting. There is no cost to attend, but please bring your favorite credit card to grab food and drinks.

Where is Five Points Pizza located?

Five Points Pizza East is located at 1012 Woodland Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37206. There are two locations, so make sure you go to the East Nashville restaurant.

They’re open from 11 am to 11 pm every day, except Fridays when they’re open until midnight. Happy hour specials are available Monday through Friday from 2 pm until 6 pm.

What kind of food does Five Points Pizza serve?

Five Points Pizza offers whole pies and pizza by the slice. You can order any type of custom pie you want. Most pies range from $14 to $26 depending on the size and toppings you order. A variety of salads and strombolis are on the menu. They also serve full and half orders of garlic knots, which are simply amazing. And for dessert, they sell cannolis for $4.

The “slice of the day” menu changes daily and this Thursday, they’ll have these two specialty options:

  • Veggie – Mushroom, Roasted Red Pepper, Gorgonzola, Shredded Mozzarella, Balsamic Reduction
  • Meat – Bacon, Pineapple, Feta, Shredded Mozzarella, Red Sauce

And, of course, craft brews are also available. The 16 taps rotate on the regular, so come prepared to try a few. Or order a can or bottle if that’s your thing.

When is the Nashville travel meetup?

Our next meetup in on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at 6 pm. Most meetups last at least 2 hours, so even if you’re a little late due to work or traffic, stop by anyway.

Is there a charge to attend?

We do not charge to attend our Nashville travel meetups, however, we want to be good partners with our hosts. So, please plan to buy something to eat or drink to support the business.

I recommend bringing your favorite rewards credit card that offers bonus points for dining. If you need a new card, check out the latest offers in our credit card marketplace.

Can I bring friends and family?

Yes, you can invite others to attend.

Please join the Music City Miles & Points Facebook group and RSVP for this monthly Nashville travel meetup. so that we can reserve the right number of seats.

Kids are welcome to attend. I’ll be bringing both of my children (ages 4 and 8). They’ll undoubtedly have their iPads with them to avoid listening to our “boring” talk about miles & points and travel.

Our next Nashville travel meetup

If you can’t make it for the January meetup, don’t worry. We’re already planning our next few meetups.

Save the date because next month’s meetup will be on February 29th. Time and location are to be determined. Details will be released first in the Music City Miles & Points Facebook group.

The Bald Thoughts

After growing the Nashville travel meetups throughout 2019, Jason, William, and I decided to start holding these events every month. We recently held a poll where the members favored holding events on the weekends. We’re looking at our calendar for February and March and will post the dates first in the Music City Miles & Points Facebook group. Join the group to be the first to know when our next meetup is.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday!
