If you live in Nashville or happen to be here this week, come join us tonight at Sand Bar. We’ll be talking miles & points, credit cards, and upcoming trips. It is family-friendly and there’s no fee to attend. We hope to see you there!
What Music City Miles and Points?
Music City Miles and Points is our Nashville-based travel meetup group. You can join our group on Facebook.
The group was started by Will from That Irie Guy, Jason Hines, and me to talk shop and inspire others to explore the world using travel rewards.
We host events across the city every two months at cool bars, fun restaurants, and other venues that evoke the Nashville spirit.
Does it cost anything to attend?
There is no cover charge to attend our events.
However, if you choose to drive, you’ll probably pay for parking. And be sure to bring your favorite credit card to buy some food and drinks to enjoy.
Is it OK to bring friends, family, or kids?
Yes! Please invite your friends and family to come. I usually bring my kids (Timmy and Scarlett) who are ages 8 and 4 years, respectively.
Most venues don’t have designated kids’ areas, but as long as your kids are well-behaved, they are welcome to come. Our kids bring their iPads, school books, or a toy to play with to keep themselves occupied.
You can even bring your dog because Sand Bar is dog-friendly.
What and where is Sand Bar?
Sand Bar is a fun concept of bringing the beach to Nashville. They’re known for fresh coconuts and beach volleyball. I recently heard about it and have been excited to check it out.
They offer a full menu of drinks so come thirsty. I’ll probably get a bucket of beers to share with Anna… or maybe we’ll grab a couple of their famous coconut drinks?
It is located at 3 City Ave, Suite 500, Nashville, TN 37209.
The Bald Thoughts
I look forward to these meetups every two months so I can hang with people from the travel rewards community. It’s a great opportunity to learn from others and share what I’ve been doing. Plus, it’s always nice to make new friends.
We hope you can join us tonight. If not, join my email list so you’ll be the first to hear about our next meetup in October.
