The Morning Shave

Here Are the Most Haunted Hotels in the U.S.

If you’re ready for a spooky hotel stay, these properties offer the real-deal experience. While many scary situations can be explained away with logic, I’m not so sure about ghosts and other things that go bump in the night. The hair on my arms is standing up right now just thinking about trying to stay at one of these hotels. Are you brave enough to book a room at one of these haunted hotels?

JetBlue-Spirit antitrust trial getting underway.

With so much other news going on in the world of miles & points, it’s easy to forget about this merger. I hope the merger is approved, even if JetBlue has to give up some gates at certain airports. I’m not a big fan of ULCC and their strategy of charging for every little detail. And I think that JetBlue will do a good job of merging in Spirit’s fleet of planes, destinations and frequent fliers.

Why We Crave Strange Foods at the Airport, According to a Dietician.

Traveling while tired or stressed can lower your defenses against bad food choices. And, sometimes, you don’t have time to grab something nutritious when you’re rushing to catch your next flight. Try to pack some healthy (yet delicious) snacks in your carry-on to balance out the empty calories. And, drink as much water as possible to stay hydrated and flush out the bad foods.

Disabled man drags himself off plane after Air Canada fails to offer wheelchair.

This is simply unacceptable behavior by the airline. The flight crew or gate agents should have recognized the situation and jumped into action, even if it was “somebody else’s job.” And how did the flight have enough time to watch this man drag himself up 12 rows of seats but not enough time to get him a wheelchair? This doesn’t make sense at all. I recently interviewed Cory Lee, a wheelchair traveler, about the importance of accessible travel. Please take a moment to listen to the interview.
