Hello Kitty Bullet Train
Hello Kitty theme attractions are huge in Asia. Eva Air has the Hello Kitty plane from Los Angeles to Taipei, Taiwan. Now, Japan Railways (JR) West has the Hello Kitty bullet train (Shinkansen) operating from the Shin-Osaka station to Hakata.
I was in Japan last week and I had the opportunity to ride the bullet train. Even though I’m not a Hello Kitty fan, I love checking out theme attractions in Japan because you can’t find anything like it elsewhere. Watch my travel vlog about my experience.
Train Service
The train only runs once a day in each direction from Shin-Osaka to Hakata. The ticket price varies on which stop you get off. I went from Shin-Osaka station to Himeji Station and it ran me $70 for a 45-minute train ride. If you buy a JR Pass in advance, you can ride the Hello Kitty bullet train for free.
