What is FTU?
If you’ve never been to an FTU event before, it is a place where people who love talking travel rewards gather to share tips & tricks and learn from some of the smartest experts in the world of miles and points.
The events rotate through the United States (and occasionally internationally) so that people who have a hard time traveling can more easily attend. And, for those of us with more flexible schedules, it gives us another excuse to hop on a plane and explore another city.
When is FTU Signature New York?
The FTU Signature New York event will take place the weekend of June 8 through June 10. On Friday night, it is primarily a networking opportunity to meet fellow attendees and the speakers over a slice of pizza and a (no-host) bar.
The real meat of the event is Saturday and Sunday (June 9 and June 10) where you’ll spend all day learning the latest travel hacks from speakers who specialize in an assortment of travel reward programs.
Breakfast and dinner are not included, but complimentary lunch will be provided on both Saturday and Sunday.
Where is FTU Signature New York located?
Normally, Frequent Traveler University events are held at local hotels and the sessions are held in the ballrooms of the host hotel.
With the FTU Signature NY, the FTU team is throwing a change-up and hosting the event at 4 West 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036.

What is the schedule for FTU NY?
The schedule for FTU New York begins with the Friday night pizza networking event starting at Angelo’s on Broadway beginning at 6 pm.
On Saturday and Sunday, the sessions begin at 9am until you break for lunch around noon. The sessions will begin again at 1:30 pm and continue until 5 pm each day.
There will be social events each night, so talk with other attendees and listen to the hosts and speakers from FTU to figure out who’s going where and with whom.
During the weekend, there will be:
- 3 course Beginners Boot Camp Saturday morning to get you rolling
- 2 course Airline Miles Workshop with live award booking
- 2 course Reselling track
