Flying Blue November Promo Awards are live (travel through 30 April 2023).

You can find huge savings on award flights with the Flying Blue promo awards. They release the calendar each month, so keep coming back to find additional flights for your preferred travel dates. I saved a lot of miles on my flights with Scarlett (to Belgium) and Timothy (to Denmark) a couple of years ago, which allowed us to fly Business Class on all of the flights.

Carnival Cruise Line Limits Alcohol Consumption Aboard.

I like to enjoy adult beverages while traveling (or at home), but some people continue to prove that there need to be limits. Instead of enjoying themselves and stopping before things get out of hand, some travelers go way overboard and ruin a good thing for the rest of us. Carnival is now limiting how much travelers can drink to avoid messy situations with people who don’t know when to say when. However, 15 drinks and two bottles per day is still A LOT of alcohol!

Big bonus opportunities for airlines and hotels.

A few articles highlight the bonus opportunities when transferring flexible points into their loyalty programs. Air Canada Aeroplan offers a 30% bonus on Chase Ultimate Rewards transfers. Transfers to British Airways from Capital One get a 20% bonus. And hotel program Accor Live Limitless also has a 20% bonus from Capital One.

Man screams at Qantas flight attendants, “Tell security to come and take me by the balls!”

You should never scream at a flight attendant. And I can’t imagine how painful it would be if security actually followed his instructions. I’m not sure why there are so many wackos flying right now. Just follow the golden rule of “treat others how you want to be treated,” and we’ll all be much happier. And, if an airline employee tells you to get off the plane, just do it. You’re not going to win that battle.

Most popular travel blogger-themed Halloween costume revealed.

Fun costumes that make fun of travel blogger personalities. Frankly, many in this industry deserve to be the butt of jokes. I find these hilarious and probably a bit closer to reality than we’d all like to admit. Which one is your favorite?
