Being in my new home of Salt Lake City, I have had to become a Delta enthusiast. Delta flights tend to be on the more expensive side compared to discount airlines like Southwest. However, my employer has allowed me to commit myself to Delta and rack up miles to take advantage of their perks. One of the best perks of Delta is being able to access the Delta Sky Club lounges. Let’s dive into the lounge experience!

Delta Sky Club Salt Lake City

Tucked away in Terminal C, the Delta Sky Club Salt Lake City is hidden in one of the fastest growing airports/cities in America. To access the lounge, I used my American Express Platinum card and Delta boarding pass to enter. I was happy when I was greeted very kindly by the staff.

Inside the Delta Sky Club Salt Lake City

Among the 200+ seats, there is plenty of room to lounge with friends or finalize that last minute report. The Delta Sky Club is stocked with a full complimentary bar and light breakfast options, such as bagels, toast, and Starbucks coffee. You can’t go wrong!

What I found so interesting about this lounge is that each section of the lounge has a different ‘vibe’ to them. Some areas are more casual and social, while others are quieter with people working away on their laptops. No matter what your needs are, you can find a place to sit enjoy the comfort.

And, if your shoes are in need of a little TLC, there’s even a spot to get your shoes shined. A perfect benefit for the busy professional.

The Bald Thoughts

There is nothing special about the Salt Lake City International Airport – simple and to the point. However, the Delta Sky Club Salt Lake City allows you to escape the airport boredom and enjoy comfort, free wifi, and some complimentary drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend stopping by here if you are ever in town for some skiing or hiking along the Wasatch Mountains.

For those of your planning to visit the Beehive state anytime soon, I would love to help you in your travel planning and even meet up for a drink. Maybe I’ll see you at the Delta Sky Club lounge!
