How Do You File a Travel Insurance Claim so It Won’t Get Rejected?
Whether you’re filing a claim with your credit card benefits or a standalone travel insurance policy, you need to file correctly in order to receive benefits. It’s bad enough that you had an awful experience without having the claims administrator rub salt in the wound by denying your claim. If you don’t have travel insurance or other protections, consider getting a travel credit card that includes travel benefits, buying a travel insurance policy from Allianz, or a global medical transport plan from MedJet.
Reports: New EU Visa Program ETIAS Won’t Start Until 2025.
The EU Visa program was supposed to add extra cost and another item for your to-do list before traveling to Europe starting in 2024. Luckily, it has been delayed for at least another year. So, book your European vacation for next year without worrying about extra fees and tasks… at least until May 2025.
Airlines Are Just Banks Now.
This article takes a strong stand, and I totally agree. Chasing airline elite status just isn’t worth it for most travelers. This is especially true if you can only reach mid-level status since upgrades are rare and you can get similar benefits just by having the airline’s credit card. Airlines have destroyed loyalty for most of us, so you’re better off being a free agent searching for the best flight times and prices.
