It’s so much fun to get together with other people who love to travel as much as I do. Every couple of months, we host a meetup so we can swap stories and tips to improve and inspire future vacations. Join me, Jason, and William from That Irie Guy for an evening of fun, food, and travel. The event starts at 5 pm because Happy Hour specials end at 6 pm.

Where are we meeting?
We’re meeting at Party Fowl in Donelson. The address is 2620 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37214.
The outside looks just like this and there is plenty of parking in a couple of adjacent parking lots.
How is the food?
Nashville is known for hot chicken. The original is Prince’s and Hattie B’s is also pretty popular. Party Fowl is a newcomer to the hot chicken scene in Nashville. They opened in 2014 with their own twist on hot chicken recipes. And Donelson is their third location.
Party Fowl offers a number of hot chicken dishes with heat levels ranging from mild to “Poultrygeist.” I’m a wimp when it comes to spicy food, so I order the mild and even that offers a pretty good kick. Guests can sample from over 20 beers plus several “slushie-style” mixed drinks to choose from.
For dessert, I highly recommend the beignets. Not quite as good as Cafe du Monde in New Orleans, but still absolutely delicious.
Jason, William, and I recently stopped by Party Fowl to scope out the restaurant and ensure it was up to our group’s standards. From the smile on our faces, you can tell that we liked what we saw.
Meet upstairs when you arrive
The downstairs area is primarily reserved for dining and sitting at the bar, so we’re going to meet upstairs where it is less crowded. This will give us the best chance of having our own dedicated space.
Please RSVP
You don’t have to RSVP to attend, but it will help us set aside enough tables and chairs for the group.
To RSVP, please join the Music City Miles and Points Facebook Group, then RSVP to our April 2019 meetup.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at 5 pm!
Bring your favorite dining credit card
As much as we love all of you, this is a no-host event. Remember to bring your favorite credit card that earns bonus rewards for dining so you’ll be that much closer to your next free vacation!
Are kids allowed?
Yes. This is a family event, so please feel free to bring your spouse and children. My two kids (ages 4 and 8 years) will be there. I’m sure they’d love to have more buddies to play with.
Last meetup in February
We had a great time at Embers Ski Lodge for our inaugural Nashville travel meetup. There were close to 20 people in attendance and it was fun getting to know everyone that showed up.
The Bald Thoughts
We plan on having our meetups every other month so there’s a regular opportunity to network and share the latest news in the travel world. We understand that not everyone can make it during the week, so there will be some weekend events in the future. I’m looking forward to meeting more of you.
Mark your calendars now for Wednesday, April 3rd at 5 pm. See you next week!
