Fees, fees, and more fees. Marriott loves to tack on fees to guests who book with them. I hope that the Federal rules go through that require hotels and airlines to include fees in the total price when searching for properties. This would eliminate the onslaught of surprise fees when completing a reservation.
Here’s When It’s Acceptable to Recline Your Seat on an Airplane — and When It’s Not.
To recline or not is one of the most contentious battles among travelers. In my opinion, if the flight is longer than two hours and you’re going to sleep, then go ahead and recline your seat. While I think you have every right to recline, it makes no sense if it’s a short flight. What are your thoughts on reclining seats?
First Star Alliance Credit Card to Launch in Australia.
Airlines alliances allow members to book flights on partner airlines using the miles from a different airline. Previously, airlines were the only ones that offered credit cards that earned miles based on your spending. Now, in a sign of things to come, Star Alliance is launching its own credit card. Airport lounges are an oasis of calm and awesomeness within the chaos of the airport. I look for every opportunity I can find to relax and enjoy my visit… even if it means walking to a different terminal to gain access. Most lounges offer free drinks, snacks, WiFi, and more for all guests. While I don’t have airline elite status that guarantees entry, I use credit card benefits to my advantage, so I can enter for free whenever possible. What’s your favorite airport lounge amenity?
