Traveling through San Diego, I absolutely love the feeling of this airport – extremely relaxed and beachy. And the views are pretty fantastic. I’m really loving the access to airport lounges from the American Express Platinum card I have. I hate to say it, but I’m starting to become a bit of a lounge snob. Let’s take a look at the Delta Sky Club San Diego Airport lounge!

Delta Sky Club San Diego
As you head up the escalators, adjacent to the United Club is the Delta Sky Club San Diego Airport! Greeted by a Delta agent with a plethora of newspapers and magazines to take, this club is the perfect place to relax with a cocktail before your next flight!
Amenities of the Delta Sky Club San Diego Airport
The small array of pastries and coffees that are available is the Delta Sky Club standard. But at least it is accompanied with a fully stocked bar.
Inside the Delta Sky Club San Diego Airport
While the Delta Sky Club San Diego isn’t a very spacious club, it does have room for about 80 people inside. What it lacks in capacity, it more than makes up for with the ambiance and views!
In this short clip below is the best feature of all at this lounge. A full view of the airplanes coming in and taking off from rocking chairs – so California! I sat here for about 2 hours listening to music and a few podcasts, and it was a great experience.
The Bald Thoughts
For those of you flying my ‘go-to’ airline, Delta, I highly recommend picking up the American Express Platinum card to gain access to all of the awesome Delta lounges, including the Delta Sky Club San Diego Airport. You will not be disappointed with what Delta brings to the table!
