TSA Will Allow Non-REAL ID Mobile Driver’s Licenses Even After Deadline.
The REAL ID deadline has been pushed back so many times that most of us have ignored it. Currently, the new deadline is May 7, 2025, but there’s talk of pushing it back two more years because several states still aren’t ready for compliance. There’s a push to increase the adoption of mobile driver’s licenses, which includes them being exempt from REAL ID requirements. This definitely sounds suspect… you can avoid proving who you are by downloading this app and showing us a digital ID.

American Airlines Is Launching its Own Digital ID Lanes.
Under an agreement with TSA, American Airlines will soon launch streamlined security lanes where travelers can provide biometric data to access touchless ID lanes. By matching your photo with your passport and AAdvantage profile, you’ll have a hands-free experience when going through airport security. This feature is already available to United and Delta passengers at select airports.
Resident signs with Marriott to rebrand midscale properties.
Under a franchise agreement with Marriott, Resident Hotels is converting several of its Sleeperz Hotels to the Four Points Flex by Sheraton brand. These midscale properties are located in the U.K. and they offer an excellent option to earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points on your next vacation.
