There’s a fantastic promotion available for Visa Signature cardholders where you receive one complimentary night when you book two nights or more at Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and Curio hotels. This deal is ripe for the picking, just like the old Club Carlson Visa “2nd night free” benefit. In addition to getting the free night with this promotion, you’ll also receive $25 in food and beverage credits to use during your stay.

What are the details of this Hilton promotion?
Not only do you receive the 2nd night free with this promotion, you’ll also receive these 7 great benefits by booking with Visa Signature Hotels:
- Best available rate guarantee
- Automatic room upgrade upon arrival, when available
- Complimentary in-room Wi-Fi, when available
- Complimentary continental breakfast daily
- $25 USD food or beverage credit
- VIP Guest status
- 3PM check-out upon request, when available
I’m a Hilton Diamond through the spend on my Citi Hilton Reserve card, so I should receive an upgrade anyway, but it’s nice to know that this offer also includes automatic upgrades, if they are available.
And having a complimentary continental breakfast is a nice money-saving benefit that pairs nicely with the $25 food and beverage credit.
Which properties are included?
There are 50 properties in the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and Curio brands that are participating in this promotion. Here are a sample of the properties available across the US, Europe, and Asia.
- Arizona Biltmore
- La Quinta Resort & Club
- Grand Wailea
- Waldorf Astoria Park City
- Rome Cavalieri
- Waldorf Astoria Beijing
- Boulders Resort & Spa (Arizona)
- Conrad New York
- Conrad London St James
- Conrad Tokyo
- Conrad Maldives Rangali Island
For our upcoming romantic Italy vacation, I recently booked our two-night stay at the Waldorf Astoria Rome Cavalieri using 28,000 Hilton HHonors points and 115 Euros a night. I’m going to cancel that reservation and book using this promotion instead. Instead of paying 230 Euros and 56,000 Hilton HHonors points, we’ll be paying 295 Euros… so, I’m getting a $25 resort credit and saving 56,000 Hilton points for the cost of 65 Euros. To me, that’s a great deal!
How do you use this promotion?
This promotion is available only if you have a Visa Signature card. If you try to book the promotion with a non-qualified card, the transaction will not go through.
Use this link to go to the Hilton and Visa Signature promotion page and click on the property that you want to book your room at. When you book, select the free night rate. Simple as that.
Note that the confirmation will show the full price of the two nights, but the 2nd night discount will post when you check out of the hotel.
You must book your reservation by December 31, 2o16 and complete your stay by March 31, 2017 to receive these benefits.
Before you book, do what I do and check out the reviews at TripAdvisor.
Possible to stack with $75 gift card promotion?
There is another promotion available to Visa Signature cardholders where you will receive a $75 Visa gift card when you book a stay at any participating Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, or Curio hotel by November 30, 2016. You must book between August 1, 2016 and November 30, 2016 for completed stays between August 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017.
And it seems that the participating hotel list is exactly the same. There’s no place to register for the promotion and there is no language in the terms and conditions excluding the stacking of these promos. In fact, there’s a banner ad on this promotion’s page promoting the
In fact, there’s a banner ad on this promotion’s page promoting the 2nd night free offer.
And the banner on the 2nd night free indicates that, if you book by November 30, 2016, you’ll also receive a $75 Visa gift card.
With both of these banners cross-promoting the offers, it would seem that they are indeed stackable, bringing your total benefit to $100 in food & beverage credit and gift cards.
Which card should you use to book your stay?
Since you’ll be staying at a Hilton branded hotel, you may want to use a Hilton card when booking your reservation since you can receive up to 10x Hilton HHonors points for your reservation. If you’re looking to keep your out-of-pocket costs to a minimum, use the Barclay Arrival card and offset some or all of your reservation with points.
If you don’t have either of these cards, or are looking for a new card, please use our referral link.

UPDATE: This 2nd night free offer is dead
When amazing deals like this pop up, you need to jump on them right away. Most hotel offers are free cancellation, so book rooms that you think you want now, then talk with your spouse later to confirm that you can go.
The $75 Visa gift card promotion is still alive, but I don’t believe that it is worth taking advantage of unless you were already planning on staying there anyway.
It is very uncommon for properties like Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and Curio to have deals like 2nd night free. Since it was such an amazing deal, we broke the internet and Visa Signature Hotels pulled the deal WAY before the designated promotion end date of December 31, 2016.
Next time… don’t hesitate. You’ll be much happier.
