The Morning Shave
10 of the Tallest Hotels in the World.
If you’re a fan of architecture like me and want to visit unique attractions, then traveling to the tallest hotels in the world might be up your alley. Unlike normal tourist attractions, you can only visit during operating hours. But with the tallest hotels in the world, you can actually sleep there too. And there are some Marriott Bonvoy hotels on the list, so you can earn and redeem points on your stays! #winning Are any of these hotels on your bucket list?
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer To Devalue Award Chart, Add Dynamic Awards in November 2025.
Bad news for travelers looking to redeem points through the KrisFlyer airline loyalty program. Singapore Airlines is implementing dynamic awards pricing, making it harder to redeem airline miles for extreme value. Luckily, these changes won’t start until November 2025, so there’s still time to book your flights using the current award pricing.

Without USAID, Conservation and Tourism Projects Have Ground to a Halt.
The aid we give to other countries helps out in so many ways – food for starving families, medicine & treatment for sick people, education for local communities, and so much more. One of the overlooked benefits of our aid is the conservation and tourism projects that it funds. The money ensures these key attractions are taken care of for generations and help to create jobs for people who live there. Not to mention the tourism dollars that feed into these communities. Since USAID was cut, many of these projects are now underfunded and in limbo. If you’re planning a trip, the attraction may be closed or severely affected in ways that will diminish your experience.
Spirit Airlines Files for Bankruptcy for Second Time in 10 Months.
Well, I think we all knew it was going to happen. But we didn’t know when. Even if you don’t fly Spirit, it serves a dedicated clientele and puts pressure on other airlines to maintain lower fares to compete for passengers. Plus, there are always entertaining social media clips of what goes on at its gates or on its planes. So, we need Spirit to stay in business.
Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App Fraud: What Your Bank Isn’t Telling You.
Mobile payment services like Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App are becoming more popular because they are easy to use to send and receive payments. The downside is that once the money has been sent, it is gone and nearly impossible to dispute when you’ve been scammed. Or so the banks want you to think that way… The Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA) protects consumers when money is taken electronically from their bank accounts without permission, including when you’ve been scammed. No matter what the bank tells you, it must refund the money rather than blaming you. The courts and regulators, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), “have made it clear that consumers have rights, even in cases where fraudsters manipulate you into pressing send.” While this much is true, I still believe that credit cards remain the best way to earn rewards and protect your rights when paying for goods & services.
