The Morning Shave

Plane failed to descend as pilots reportedly fell asleep during flight. – Many travelers don’t realize that pilots really do sleep on planes during the flight. With planes so technologically advanced, pilots are mostly needed for takeoff and landing (and when there are turbulence/storms to worry about). At least they landed safely within 30 minutes of their originally scheduled arrival time. Imagine being on the plane and wondering what was going on.

The Ten Unwritten Rules of Travel. – These are some pretty good rules to abide by when traveling. What rules are missing from this list? A couple of pretty big holes are 1) always register for the airline’s loyalty program, 2) book your flight with a credit card that offers travel protections, 3) sign up for Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, and/or CLEAR to speed up security, and 4) get access to the airport lounge through elite status, ticket class, or credit card.

However, it’s on the parents to correct and educate children when they are misbehaving or impacting others. What would you do in this situation?

What a combined Spirit-JetBlue loyalty program could look like. – This is a big question that’s on a lot of people’s minds now that JetBlue beat out Frontier for the purchase of Spirit. Integration is going to be messy, and it will change JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program in some way… for better or worse, is still up in the air.
