United Passenger Banned After Fellow Travelers Had to Restrain Him with Zip Ties for Violent Outburst.

From the video, there’s obviously something bothering this guy. But it had to be scary for everyone around him. It appears like his seat was reclined all the way back into the seat behind it. What would you do in this situation? I would definitely get away from him as quickly as possible, but I would help restrain him if the flight attendants needed help.

British Airways Just Unveiled a New First Class Suite with Extra-wide Seats and a Privacy Wall.

For British Airways travelers flying between the U.S. and London, get ready for an amazing new First Class Suite launching in mid-2026. The airline is retrofitting its fleet of A380 aircraft to feature a 36.5-inch-wide seat in soft gray that converts into a 79-inch-long rectangular bed. The Suite includes a privacy wall you control depending whether you want extra shuteye or to chat with the passenger sitting next to you.

Senate report slams airlines for raking in billions in seat fees.

The junk fees charged by airlines are getting ridiculous. In an effort to keep ticket prices low, they’ve unbundled all of the goodies we used to get for “free” and started charging for them separately. While this can be a good deal for some travelers, it is annoying and costly for everyone else.

Why Chase Charges Late Fees Before the Payment Deadline.

Banks are in the business of charging extra fees whenever possible. And I’m sure this situation is easily fixable… if they want to. The potential reversal of fees may be missed for some customers, which counts as extra revenue for them if the customer doesn’t notice or complain about it. One of the best ways to avoid this scenario is to set up automatic payment of the minimum amount due. You’ll still need to pay off the balance manually, but you’ll avoid late fees, penalty APRs and negative marks on your credit report.

What’s the optimal way to use your miles and points?

Many people online will shame you for not redeeming your miles & points “the right way” for maximum value. While you don’t want to get sub-par value for your rewards, the best redemptions are the ones you actually book. That’s why I follow the LEE Method of Travel Hacking when earning and redeeming travel rewards. Otherwise, you’re better off just getting a cash back credit card so you can freely book flights & hotels as you wish… or use the money to invest or pay down your debt.
