How to see America: The Highest profile observation decks. – I’m always looking for unique ways to explore the cities that we visit. One of the most fun attractions are observation decks. They’re attached to tall buildings, hang out over massive canyons, and so much more. One of our writers, Brett, visited the SkyDeck Chicago observation deck and loved it. What’s your favorite observation deck?
Season-pass and hotel demand indicate top year for ski slopes. – This should be a big year for skiing and snowboarding after so many of us missed out on last year. The kids and I are all vaccinated and we have our IKON season passes ready to go.
U.K. requiring self-isolation period upon arrival. – I traveled to London in August, shortly after they re-opened to U.S. travelers. It was a hassle and expensive for testing with a required Day-2 test and departure test. New regulations are even stricter now with the Omicron variant. Before I was able to walk around while waiting for results, but now you must self-isolate until your results come back negative.
Allianz survey: Top 3 international holiday destinations are all in Mexico. – If you’re planning on traveling internationally during the holidays, there’s a good chance that Mexico is on your list. We just came back from the new Hilton Cancun All-Inclusive (review coming shortly) and are visiting the InterContinental Presidente Cozumel later this month. Are you planning on traveling to Mexico this winter?
A Reader Suggestion That Changed the Way I Travel. – I never thought about this, but it does make sense. Jeans offer more protection and wearing them instead of packing them saves space in your suitcase.
