What Happened to Looking Nice on the Plane?
When our parents started flying a generation ago, travelers dressed up before heading to the airport. Today, the price and convenience of flying is no longer a special occasion. And we travelers treat it as if we’re just hanging out at home and chilling on the couch. Spandex leggings, comfy sweats, dirty shorts, etc., are more common nowadays than fancy dresses and tailored suits among passengers. And I’m totally guilty of choosing comfort over style while traveling myself. After a career in banking, I’m in no hurry to put on a suit, but I also think we can all do a little better in picking out our clothes when flying. #LookGoodFeelGood What do you think?

Spain’s Iconic La Sagrada Familía Finally Has a Completion Date.
In Barcelona, you’ll find an amazing building under construction since 1882. It’s hard to believe that it hasn’t been finished, but the unique style of Gaudi complicates construction. And while some buildings can be completed quickly, masterpieces like La Sagrada Familía take time… even if it means more than 140 years of construction.

I think the dressing for flying is a little tricky. What I personally practice is dress based on destination and class of service. If I’m flying to D.C., Montego Bay, or Chicago then I’m not sure I need to dress to any particular standard; if I’m flying Cathay Pacific first class to Asia then I make sure to wear a collared shirt and slacks as a minimum.
That makes a lot of sense. It also matters what airline you’re flying. Quite a different dress code for Spirit vs. British Airways.
