Uber Will Add Cruise’s Robotaxis to Its Fleet.
Uber is adding robo-taxis to its list of transportation options in select cities across the U.S. These driverless cars will enable Uber to compete with other forms of transportation even when it cannot sign up enough drivers in certain areas. This seems like a good idea, but it also means that drivers will miss out on income, and I’m still not sure that the tech is good enough to trust a driverless vehicle yet. Would you ride in a Cruise robotaxi?
The Ultimate Guide to National Cheap Flight Day.
Apparently, there’s a day for everything now. I’m all about finding low prices on flights to stretch my travel budget. According to CheapOair, August 23rd typically starts the downward trend in flight prices as summer travel shifts into the school year. While there isn’t a specific day when prices are cheaper, using tools like Google Flights will help you track prices to secure the best fare available. And you can always book with Southwest to avoid change and cancellation fees to ensure you have the lowest price.

The airline recently announced an end to its open-seating policy. Will these back-to-back changes help or harm the airline as it seeks to increase profits?

Is It Rude to Recline Your Airplane Seat?
I don’t think it’s rude to recline your airplane seat. However, if someone asks nicely to put it back up, you should oblige. I had this situation happen recently where the passenger in front reclined his seat while I was working. I asked him nicely to put it back up, and he gave me attitude and said that I was “interrupting his comfort.” He eventually put it up halfway after I said, “Can you help me out? I asked nicely.” Personally, I only recline my seat if I’m trying to sleep on a flight, but everyone has a different opinion on this divisive topic.
