Nashville Valentine’s Day date night ideas
We’ve curated a list of fun and romantic Valentine’s Day date night ideas and attractions so you can do something out of the ordinary instead of a box of chocolates, flowers, dinner and a movie. Plus, you’re supporting local businesses that make this community thrive.
Enjoy a unique performance at Candlelight Concerts
One of the things we love most about Nashville is that there’s live music everywhere you turn. Candlelight provides the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical performance inside The Parthenon with a variety of shows by famous artists and classical composers.
For Valentine’s Day, the Candlelight concert features a performance by the Listeso String Quartet with love songs from all eras of history. During this performance, you’ll enjoy contemporary songs from Romeo and Juliet, Titanic, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s and classics from Tchaikovsky, Claude Debussy, Nino Rota, and more.
The show is 65 minutes long, and doors open 45 minutes prior to the start time. However, we suggest arriving early since it is first-come, first-served for seating and standing room. On Sunday, February 11th (affiliate link), tickets are available in Zone A for the 7 pm show or standing-room-only tickets at 9 pm.
If you’d rather sit down for the performance or prefer other types of music, Candlelight by Fever has other upcoming shows that you might like better:
- A Tribute to Pink Floyd (February 16th or March 15th)(affiliate link)
- The Best of Hans Zimmer (February 23rd or April 19th)(affiliate link)
- Tribute to Dolly Parton (March 8th)(affiliate link)
- A Tribute to Coldplay (March 17th or April 26th)(affiliate link)
- A Tribute to Taylor Swift (March 22nd or April 12th)(affiliate link)
Get scared together at Nashville Nightmare: Love Bites
Spending time with your Valentine isn’t always cute and cuddly. Hold your partner tighter as you visit Nashville’s scariest haunted house. Love Bites is an immersive haunt experience with a Valentine’s theme. It’s the perfect way to spice up your Valentine’s weekend. This year’s mazes include:
- Vector Research Alien Threat
- Horror High Homecoming
- Legends of the Mythos Dark Fabulyst
- Midnight Mortuary
With a premium access pass, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to spooky libations and themed cocktails at two secret bars (must be 21+). You can also buy tickets to The Mummy’s Curse laser maze experience, brave the Outcast Carnival Cupid’s Revenge, or test your wit at 5-minute mini escape games.
The Nashville Nightmare Love Bites experience is open February 16-18, 2024. Tickets start at $19.99 per person and are dynamically priced, so they will increase as availability dwindles.
Red Velvet Goo Goo Clusters
Goo Goo Clusters is one of Nashville’s most famous candies. The company offers three primary flavors throughout the year, but Valentine’s Day has something special in store. For a limited time, you can purchase Red Velvet Premium Goo Goo Clusters with White Chocolate. Yummy!
For an extra sweet Valentine’s Day date night idea, book a Goo Goo Cluster experience with your Valentine. They offer three different classes where you can make your own candy, pair samples with boozy beverages, and enjoy wine and chocolate pairings.
A magical night at House of Cards
House of Cards is one of our favorite dinner experiences in Nashville. Not only do they have an impressive menu, but you’ll enjoy live magic shows throughout the venue. During dinner, you’ll see roaming magicians performing close-up magic at your table and designated spots throughout. After dinner, you’ll be seated for an intimate show by top-talent magicians that will blow your mind.
For Nashville Valentine’s Day, the House of Cards is offering a special dining experience. The menu features a 4-pound Australian Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye with salad and side options for $500. It is specially prepared and has limited availability, so you can only order it when booking your reservation.
Of course, if 5 Benjamins for dinner is beyond your budget (like it is mine), you can still order off the Valentine’s Day menu or standard menu and enjoy all of the normal magic you’ve come to expect from House of Cards. Call (615) 730-8326 or book online to make your Valentine’s Day reservation.

THE SUITEST DAY at Bobby Nashville
Make the most of your Nashville Valentine’s Day with this exclusive experience at The Bobby Nashville. It’s a swanky hotel in a historic building that’s located just a few blocks from Broadway and adjacent to Printers Alley. The hotel’s rooftop is one of my favorite places to watch the 4th of July Fireworks.
