Nashville Travel Meetup July 2022 at Von Elrod’s
The weather forecast looks blazing hot this weekend, so stop by for some frosty beverages to cool off. Our Nashville travel meetup for July 2022 is at Von Elrod’s Beer Hall & Kitchen in the Germantown neighborhood of Nashville, TN.
Von Elrod’s is located at 1004 4th Avenue N, Nashville, TN 37219, on the north side of downtown Nashville. It’s right across the street from First Tennessee Park, where the Nashville Sounds play minor league baseball.
There are several free and paid parking options within two blocks. And Von Elrod’s is located right on the Music City Circuit blue & green lines if you don’t want to drive your car. To be safe, bring your quarters or set up your Premier Parking account ahead of time.
Food and drink options
The meetup will be Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 2 pm, and we expect to hang out for 2 to 3 hours. They have a full menu for brunch, lunch, and dinner and a full-service bar, including 30+ taps of draft beer, bottled beer from local favorites, wines, shandy, cocktails, mimosas, and more.
Keeping with the German theme, Von Elrod’s has beer hall-style seating and an outdoor Biergarten.
Bring your favorite dining credit card to earn bonus points on your food and drink orders!

RSVP for Saturday, July 24th
If you plan to join us this weekend, please RSVP on Meetup or in our Facebook group.
Since Von Elrod’s is a very popular spot with the locals, we need to call to reserve a table about 30 minutes before we arrive. And, they won’t seat us until everyone is there, so having an accurate headcount and arriving on time is crucial this month.
Thanks!
Are kids or dogs allowed at the Nashville travel meetup?
Feel free to bring your kids because it’s a restaurant that serves all ages. Anna & I will be bringing our kids (but they’ll prob be on their electronics the whole time HAHA!)
Based on pics from Von Elrod’s social media profiles, dogs are welcome on the patio.

Can I use the Hop Passport at Von Elrod’s?
The Hop Passport is one of my favorite ways to save on drinks when I explore local breweries. Passholders receive 50% off their first two beers at participating breweries. Unfortunately, Von Elrod’s Beer Hall & Kitchen isn’t participating… yet! Maybe we’ll be able to convince them to join during our visit.
Upcoming miles & points meetups
We’re still working out the details for the next meetups in August, September, and October. More details to follow:
- Saturday, August 13 at 2 pm – working on location
- September and October – waiting on kids’ soccer schedules
If you have any suggestions for local restaurants, bars, breweries, or other attractions that would be ideal for our meetups, please send me an email or social media DM. Thanks!
The Bald Thoughts
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone for the Nashville travel meetup July 2022 edition. And I love the tasty drinks and festive atmosphere at Von Elrod’s. It’s the perfect way to finish off summer before school starts while enjoying craft brews and tasty food. Hope to see you there!
