In a recent announcement of a JetBlue Lyft partnership, you can now earn 30 JetBlue miles when you ride with Lyft. All you need to do is link your accounts, then use Lyft Classic, Plus, or Premier and the 30 points will post to your JetBlue account immediately after completing the ride.

JetBlue Lyft Partnership
With the JetBlue Lyft partnership, you can earn JetBlue TrueBlue points every time you rideshare with Lyft to or from the airport. The process to connect your accounts is super simple and completely free.
This partnership is definitely in response to the Uber and Starwood (SPG) partnership, where you’ll earn SPG points each time you rideshare with Uber.

How to earn 30 JetBlue points with Lyft
Follow these simple steps and you’ll be all set to earn JetBlue TrueBlue points every time you ride Lyft to or from the airport. See this page for full details.
1. If you don’t have a JetBlue TrueBlue account, click here to sign up for free.
2. If you don’t have a Lyft account, use our Lyft referral link to receive a discount off your first ride.
3. Click here to connect your JetBlue and Lyft accounts. This should appear on your screen. Mine didn’t the first time, but when I refreshed the page, it popped up just fine.
4. Enter your contact information – name, email address, and JetBlue TrueBlue membership number.
And simple as that, your accounts are now connected!
Take note that Lyft Line (the cheapest rides) won’t earn JetBlue miles with this promotion.
Earn More JetBlue Miles
Admittedly, at 30 JetBlue TrueBlue miles per ride, it is going to take a long time before you can redeem for a free flight. So, I recommend getting a nice bonus to boost your account with the Barclaycard JetBlue credit card. I have this card and love the benefits.
You can earn up to 30,000 bonus points for a small minimum spend. And you’ll earn up to 6x on money spent with JetBlue, 2x at grocery stores, and 1x on everything else. The premium version of the card also provides first checked bag free, a 10% rebate on points redemptions, and the opportunity to become TrueBlue Mosaic after $50,000 in spend. Both card versions have no foreign transaction fees and offer a 50% savings on in-flight purchases of food and drink.
The Bald Thoughts
To me, linking your JetBlue and Lyft accounts is a no-brainer. You’ll earn 30 TrueBlue points with every Lyft ride, getting you that much closer to your next free flight. And there’s an opportunity to super-size your JetBlue points balance with the latest credit card offer.
