Whether I’m redeeming miles for a flight or points for a hotel stay, I’m always looking to get the best value from my travel rewards. With Flying Blue promo awards, you can save up to 25% on flights with Air France or KLM to select destinations. These promotions change monthly, and departure dates must fall within the booking window, so you must act quickly. Here’s everything you need to know about Flying Blue promo rewards, including the current destinations, how to earn Flying Blue miles, and how to book a discounted flight on Air France or KLM.

What are Flying Blue Promo Awards?

KLM and Air France promo awards are discounted flights you can book using Flying Blue miles. By booking these KLM and Air France Flying Blue promo awards, you can save up to 25% on your flights. Depending on the month, you may be able to book flights in Economy or Business class to your preferred destination.

In general, these Flying Blue promo awards are available on long-haul flights between the U.S. or Canada and Europe. Typically, flights to other destinations connect through either Paris or Amsterdam.

Eligible destinations and routes are updated on the first weekday of each month, so if you don’t like this month’s KLM Air France promo rewards options, tune in next month. And you can book flights up to six months in advance.

Keep in mind that once you get to Europe, you can book cheap flights or trains to get to your preferred destination. For example, it can make sense to book a flight to Paris and then take a train to Brussels or a flight to Frankfurt. With a bit of creativity, you can still travel to your dream destination… even if it isn’t on this month’s list.

Buy Miles from Points.com

While we typically avoid buying miles, it can make sense to do so when topping off your account to book a Flying Blue promo reward flight. You may also find it worthwhile to buy points on certain flights offering tremendous value for your miles.

Keep in mind that buying points from Points.com can be very expensive. So, this route is typically not worth it for regular Air France or KLM award flights.
