The Morning Shave
Flying with Back Pain? Here’s How to Help Alleviate It on Flights. – As I’ve gotten older, I’ve started to get more stiff while flying. The easy solution is to book Business or First Class, but that’s not feasible for the majority of us. I’m going to save this article and keep it in my travel bag to remind me to use these exercises.
First Class is fading fast. Here’s why that’s bad news for economy travelers, too. – I’m usually too frugal to splurge on First Class over Business Class when redeeming miles, but I better jump on some tickets before it disappears.
Venice is cutting back on cruise ships. Disappointing photos show what the Italian port city looks like in real life, from extreme overcrowding and devastating floods to cruise ship accidents. – This is the downside when global tourism is so affordable and accessible. Popular cities are having a hard time finding a good balance between welcoming tourism and ensuring that people have an enjoyable vacation while preserving attractions for future generations. This is one reason why I advocate for people to visit smaller or “second” cities that still offer many of the same amenities without the prices or crowds as primary vacation destinations.
5 ways the typical family can afford to travel. – Travel can be expensive, but with a few of these strategies, you can afford to travel more often (and usually in better accommodations). Check out my free email course called “7 days to your dream vacation for less“.
The hammer falls: DOT issues guidance on emotional support animals. – I’m glad that the DOT is clamping down on this nonsense. There are some people that truly need these animals, but there are many that just like traveling with their pet. And the situation becomes even worse when those animals make a mess, scare people, or (worse yet) attack someone.
