When you visit Nashville for business or pleasure, consider an extended stay property that offers more space and better decor than a traditional hotel. The kids and I were looking for a fun weekend getaway in Nashville, so we booked a two-bedroom suite at BentoLiving Chestnut Hill. In this BentoLiving Chestnut Hill review, I’ll share our experience at this property and who I think this property is best for.
Thank you to our friends at BentoLiving for inviting us to stay at their hotel so that we could review it for our readers.

BentoLiving Chestnut Hill Review: Two-Bedroom Suite
As much as I love my kids, it’s hard to get a good night’s sleep when they sleep with me. Elbows, feet, and knees hit me everywhere imaginable as they wiggle throughout the night. That’s why I always try to book hotels with multiple beds. And when there are extra bedrooms… that’s even better. They get their privacy, and I get mine.
In this BentoLiving Chestnut Hill review, I’ll share our experience during our stay in a two-bedroom suite. This floorplan isn’t exactly the same as the two-bedroom suite that we stayed in, but it helps to give you an idea of what you can expect when you stay at BentoLiving.
Living Room
The living room features an L-shaped couch in a spacious room where you can spread out and enjoy yourself. The designs throughout the unit are very modern and industrial. Our unit’s furniture looks like it came straight from the IKEA showroom and the cement floors are low-maintenance.
It comes with a large flat-panel TV offering local and cable TV plus embedded apps so you can binge on Netflix and other shows during your stay.
BentoLiving includes a rack near the front door to hang your coats, bags, and umbrellas. Plus, there’s a yoga mat and a jump rope to work out and break a sweat.
Bedrooms
Our unit had two bedrooms, which made it the largest size that you can book at BentoLiving. The master bedroom has a King-sized bed, a flat-panel TV, and a private bathroom.
The Master bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a large shower with a rainfall showerhead and wand combo.
The second bedroom is located on the other side of the suite, just off the front door. It is nice to have the kids’ bedroom further away so they can be put to bed earlier. However, having young children near the front door can be a bit scary if your kids are young and can open the door without you realizing it.
The bathroom off of the living room includes a full shower and stacked washer & dryer. Having these extra amenities are wonderful when you’re staying for more than a few days. It makes it easier to pack when you know that you can do laundry to freshen up your wardrobe.
Full Kitchen
Whenever I travel for multiple days, I love having a full kitchen to make food and save money. The kitchen came stocked with every utensil and cooking accessory you need to make a meal like you would at home. And the full-size fridge offered loads of storage room if there were any leftovers.
Even if I don’t feel like cooking, having a dining room table is perfect for enjoying take-out or delivery from local restaurants. We grabbed some complimentary coffee, pastries, cereal, and milk from the lobby. They brought in goodies from Frothy Monkey, a local Nashville coffee house known for yummy baked goods and coffee.
Plus, large tables are a great way to spread out and do some work. When I visited BentoLiving Chestnut Hill, my kids were doing virtual school, so the dining room table offered plenty of space for each of us to get our work done.
Walk-out balcony
Although there was a little rain during our visit, our walk-out balcony offered fresh air and a place to enjoy the local scenery at the park across the street. Scarlett loved sitting outside and watching the birds fly by as I worked inside.
Rooftop Terrace
On the rooftop terrace of BentoLiving Chestnut Hill, you have Instagram-worthy views of the Nashville skyline. And, when there’s nothing going on, it’s the perfect place to chill out, enjoy the sunset, and chat with your friends.
The hotel regularly hosts events with live music on the rooftop for guests to enjoy. During the summer, the rooftop terrace turns into The Chestnut on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 7 pm to 10 pm. It’s a bar that offers a delicious variety of handcrafted cocktails, weekly events, and amazing views. Admission is free for hotel guests, but $10 for everyone else.

On-Site Bodega & Other Shops at BentoLiving Nashville
When you need a few snacks or drinks, head down to the on-site bodega in the lobby. It offers an assortment of name-brand snacks and drinks, as well as some local flavors and healthy options that won’t break the budget. Additionally, there are some household and over-the-counter medicines available as well.
In addition to the lobby bodega, BentoLiving offers on-site boutiques, a restaurant, and a rooftop bar. Current tenants include Suraj Spices & Teas, FORTS sneakers & apparel, Pink Door Cookies, and The Hart.
Hotel Gym and Rec Room
The hotel gym is open 7 days a week from 6 am to 10 pm. It has a variety of workout equipment from treadmills & stationary bikes to free weights and a handful of machines. They even have kettlebells, medicine balls, and cushioned mats of a variety of sizes.
Guest can also enjoy free yoga sessions, luxury changing rooms, towel service, and filtered water in the gym. Click here for the current schedule of upcoming yoga sessions.
I always mean to hit the gym when I travel, but we always have so much fun exploring that I never get around to it.
Unique Parking Carousel
One of the most unique features of BentoLiving Chestnut Hill is the parking carousel. You don’t have to deal with the traditional hotel parking garage that takes up a lot of space and requires you to drive up several floors to find an open spot. Instead, there’s a cool-looking machine that automatically parks and stores your car for you like it was a Matchbox collectible car.
When you’re ready to go for a drive, push the button, and your car is retrieved and delivered to you. Such an awesome invention! And, it saves so much space, which allows the BentoLiving team to maximize all of the space on this property.
The one picture that I didn’t get for this BentoLiving Chestnut Hill review was of the parking carousel. I’ll have to swing by there soon and take another picture or video so that you can see how cool it is.
The Bald Thoughts
When you come to Nashville for a few days, I recommend booking a hotel with more space so you can spread out and enjoy your stay. In this BentoLiving Chestnut Hill review, we shared our experience in a 2-bedroom suite during a staycation with the kids. We enjoyed the suite and how spacious it was. I was able to get work done while the kids focused on school work. If you’ll be in Nashville for a few days (or longer), the BentoLiving Nashville is a good hotel for your stay.
