If you fly American Airlines, you need to register your business to earn American Airlines Business Extra points. Your business could be your job, your business, or a “business” that you’re starting. With this promotion celebrating 20 years of Business Extra, you can earn 650 Business Extra points from American Airlines if you fly once between now and October 31, 2017.
Earn 650 American Airlines Business Extra points

Simple as that.

Free points are the best kind, even if you don’t always know what they’re good for. American Airlines Business Extra points can be redeemed for goodies like Gold status, Admirals Club access, and flight upgrades. This promotion is simple and easy to meet if you plan on flying with American Airlines sometime this month.

Any idea of normal posting time? I flew on Sept 29th and was wondering an approximate time of when they should hit my account. Thanks
I’m not sure. I have a couple AA flights coming up. Please come back and let us know when your points post.
Shaun, I was told the regular points should post by October 20th. The bonus points are 6-to-8 weeks after that, so early December at the latest.
Here’s a great hack: that promotional code is RETRO! If you already have an account and you flew under your BizExtra number after September 7th, you’ll get the regular points PLUS the 650 — even if you registered after completing the flight!
