Motel 6 to settle lawsuit claiming it gave Latino guests’ information to ICE. – Apparently, when Tom Bodet “will leave the light on for you” it’s actually a signal to ICE that Latinos are in their room.
Great News: British Airways Website Showing American Award Space Again. – So glad this is working again. I love using British Airways points for short-haul direct flights within the US. They’re excellent to get to Hawaii from the West Coast at just 12.5K per person each way.
American Airlines eliminating plastic straws. – It’s about time we start eliminating so many single-use plastics that end up overflowing our landfills and ending up as litter in nature and our city streets.
