How Airports Are Using Biometrics so You Can Spend Less Time Waiting in Lines. – Travelers aren’t the only ones that hate long airport security lines. It creates a bottleneck that causes passengers to miss their flights, and even when they don’t miss their flights, there’s less time for them to buy food, drinks, and souvenirs from the airport shops. So, airports and airlines have a vested interest in helping us get through security faster.

I understand that they’re professionals, but sometimes changes are made to increase revenue versus restoring the beauty and charm of the original. That’s the part that I don’t like.
