The Morning Shave

The Worst Travel Advice We’ve Ever Heard. – There’s plenty of bad travel advice out there. I understand many people frown on the “cliché” tourist attractions, but could you imagine visiting Paris and not climbing the Eiffel Tower? Sometimes, these attractions are worthwhile and you’d be kicking yourself if you didn’t do them. What’s the worst travel advice you’ve heard?

Pilot Shortage Drives American Airlines To Drop Four Markets. – With travel demand up, many airlines are short the necessary pilots they need to operate their aircraft. And then weather or mechanical delays make things even worse. Always have a backup plan in case plans fall apart and use a credit card with trip delay/cancellation insurance to protect yourself.

French Bee Poised To Add Paris Orly-Miami Route. – Looking to visit Paris, but don’t want to spend a lot of money? Low-cost carrier Bee is offering cheap flights from Miami to Paris’ Orly airport for a fraction of the cost. Just be aware of the usual LCC fees for things like checked bags, assigned seats, and meals & drinks.

These Airlines’ Business Class Seats Are Getting a Major Upgrade. – While First Class offers the most luxurious experience in the air, Business Class is the happy medium for frugal folks like me. You still get the lie-flat seats and high-end meals & drinks, but without the huge price tag. And with these airlines upgrading the in-flight experience, Business Class seats are becoming an even better deal.

4 US-based British Airways lounges join Priority Pass network. – It’s always a good day when your existing memberships add more value without increasing the price. Priority Pass membership is a fairly common benefit of many travel credit cards, so there’s a good chance that you can visit these lounges for free on your next trip.
