London’s First Centurion Lounge Is Now Open at Heathrow Airport. – Although it is smaller than others, this is the 3rd new Centurion Lounge this year. The lounge includes the first-ever Centurion tea cart and an art gallery featuring local artists. Another Centurion Lounge will open at DC’s Reagan National Airport in late 2022 and the SFO and SeaTac lounges are getting expansions in the near future.

However, current spikes in COVID cases have led the local government to require masks outdoors. This is just a couple of months after French officials eliminated the outdoor mask mandate this summer. Examples like this illustrate how international travel remains challenging amid ever-changing rules and COVID case loads.
