The Morning Shave

Sorry To Say, Travel Isn’t Rebounding As Quickly As Some Think. – I’m sad to say that I agree with this. Business travel isn’t coming back as quickly (or as much) because companies are realizing that employees can be just as effective over video chats as they are in person… without the expense of flights, hotels, taxis, and per diems. And, while consumers want to travel, many of them are afraid to hop in a plane. Instead, many consumers are opting for road trips instead.

5 Expert Tips for Wearing a Face Mask in the Summer Heat. – No matter how fashionable you try to make your cloth mask with designs and colors, few people actually like wearing one. I wear one out in public, but they can be uncomfortable if you’re not used to wearing one. These are some great tips to reduce the frustration.

Fairs Across the Country Are Opening Drive-thrus for To-go Funnel Cakes, Corn Dogs, and More. – State and county fairs are a great way for local charitable organizations to raise money. Plus, with fun rides and tasty food, they are a lot of fun for the family. Unfortunately, all of the summer fairs around us are closed due to coronavirus fears. But, some fairs are being creative so you can at least get your favorite tasty treats by driving through.

The best and worst months to book Southwest flights (and other secrets to finding the best deals). – I’m a huge fan of Southwest, and I am looking forward to being able to use these tips when I book my next flight. My best piece of advice for Southwest is to book immediately, then follow up every couple of weeks to see if the price drops. If so, rebook and save money/points on the flight.

Buyer Beware! Travel May Be Down, But Fraud Is On The Rise. – It is a sad thing, but whenever there are problems, some fraudster is looking to make a quick buck on those that are hurting the most. We’re all a bit scared, yet looking for great deals. Keep an open mind, but do some research if a deal seems to be “too good to be true.” It just might be a scam.
