Uber Is Now Offering On-demand Submarine Service at the Great Barrier Reef. – This is super cool. I’ve tried getting my SCUBA certification, but both times I had trouble with the pressure in my ears. This service allows you to view the reef even if you’re not SCUBA certified.

Rescued hiker’s survival story: 17 days in Hawaii forest on berries, river water and smarts. – This is a crazy story with a happy ending. She went for a hike, got lost, and somehow survived for 17 days in the forest of Hawaii. If you’re going on a hike, always bring your cell phone and let people know where you’ll be. Bring extra water and other related gear in your backpack, even if you don’t think you’ll need it.
