Today is the final day of a flight sale from Hawaiian Airlines. You can book flights for as little as $188 each way. With this deal, you can’t fly on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. But that’s ok. It just forces you to take an extra day off and book a longer vacation. You’ll be happy you did when you’re chilling on the beach and soaking up the sun.

Which credit card should you use?

Because these Hawaiian Airlines flights are so cheap, there’s no sense in using Hawaiian Airlines points to book this flight. Instead, you are better off using your Capital One Venture Card or Barclays Arrival to purchase the tickets, then use points to pay for the purchase.

The Bald Thoughts

Competitors are scared by the prospect of Southwest Airlines entering their market. The airlines are wise to gobble up as many tourist dollars as possible now. Southwest offers a good experience for the money. And they have a loyal following that would surely pick flying on Southwest over legacy carriers so they can earn and redeem points on a popular warm-weather destination.

Will you be booking one of these cheap flights to Hawaii? Or are you waiting for Southwest to enter so you can redeem points or use your Companion Pass? Let us know in the comments below.
