The Morning Shave
Drunk Tourist Accidentally Climbs Mountain Instead of Going Back to Hotel. – Wow, those must have been some seriously good drinks. Stay careful out there. And try using an Uber or Lyft the next time you’ve had one too many at the bar.
Qatar Airways invests in JetSuite. – It will be interesting to see how this investment expands the service offering from JetSuite. I love the semi-private flights from JetSuiteX that are basically the same price as many Economy fares within California. Next time you’re looking for a flight, use my referral link and save $20 on your JetSuiteX flight of $129 or more.
Radisson Blu Expands in the United States. – It is exciting that Radisson will be opening new properties in Anaheim and New York City. The Aqua in Chicago and a couple of Red/Blu properties in Minneapolis are the ones I like best in the US.
Squaw Valley’s Wirth says Alterra will maintain ski resorts’ autonomy. – I’m glad that each mountain will be able to maintain its own character. We don’t want/need cookie cutter mountain resorts.
Beds in the cargo hold? Airbus is working on it. – Interesting. Would you book a ticket where you’d sleep in the cargo hold of a plane? We sleep in Business and First Class, but those tickets have windows and top-level service.
