Bring kids when buying a car?

One of the blogs I subscribe to recently posted a great article on the value of bringing your kids to a large negotiation.  You can read the InACents.com article here.

The basic idea is this… kids are a perfect excuse to walk away from a bad deal, or a situation in which the other party has too much negotiating power over you.

When you leave, or are in the process of leaving, you’ll be surprised how soon a “final offer” turns into a better offer because they realize that, once you walk out the door, they’ve wasted their time if they don’t close the deal.  Or, if you’ve managed to leave, how much more willing they are to negotiate further to get you to come back.

Remember… as a consumer, you have more power than you realize.
