The Morning Shave

Big News: World of Hyatt Award Stays to Count Toward Elite Status! – Great news for those of us who generally use points to pay for stays instead of cash.

Two Passengers Kicked Off American Flight Accused of Stealing Blankets. – Totally not cool.  Instead of “driving while black,” these pro basketball players were guilty of “flying while black.”  People need to talk more before jumping to conclusions and accusing people of doing something wrong.

If all airline blankets weren’t this cozy, more of them would definitely be stolen.

Man Stopped by TSA with Dead Cougar in Luggage. – In what world would this be OK?  If he was working with a state or Federal agency, you’d think there would be a better way to transport the body.

Why There Should Be a Drink Limit on Flights. – The problem with setting a hard number is that alcohol affects everyone differently.  Even moreso when in the air.  A small person can usually handle way less alcohol than a big person.  And when you’re on medication, your tolerance is much less.  Flight attendants are already responsible for not serving someone they believe is too intoxicated.  None of this matters, though, if the person already drank too much at the airport bar and the effects don’t happen until the person boards the plane.

It’s getting a lot more lucrative to become a pilot. – If you love to fly and are looking for a new (or better paying) job, consider becoming a pilot.  There’s huge demand with so many baby-boomers reaching retirement age.
