The Morning Shave

Angry Tourists Leave One-star Reviews for Attraction That No Longer Exists. – It’s a bummer that this attraction is no longer there, but that’s Mother Nature.  You have to be flexible when you travel and go with the flow when things don’t go your way.

How to detect (and avoid) Phantom Award space. – This is one of the most frustrating parts of using airline miles when traveling.  You want to book a flight on a partner airline.  The website says that the flight is available, but when you go to book, the flight isn’t.  ARGH!!!

Grand Central Terminal, NYC: Free Whiskey Tastings and Free Tours. – Just one free whiskey tasting date left.  Will you be there?

U.S. Airlines Are Making Their VIP Lobbies Even More Posh. – I don’t spend this kind of money with any airline to qualify for this service, but I love that domestic airlines are stepping up their service to compete with international airlines.  Eventually, some of these upgrades will make their way down to the rest of us.

7 ways to handle dastardly delays & cancellations. – We all eventually get hit by a delay or cancellation.  I was stuck in Atlanta on the way home from Grand Cayman and it sucked.  Having lounge access through my Amex Platinum helped make the situation a little better.

Congress: Please Don’t Try to Protect Us from Airlines By Limiting Fees or Increasing Seat Sizes. – This is just airline fee whack-a-mole.  When Congress does this, airlines will just figure out another way to squeeze more revenue and profits out of us.
