I wouldn’t recommend switching to DirecTV just to get the miles, but if you are looking to switch, consider this deal. If you already have DirecTV, consider putting the bill into your spouse’s name to get the miles. That’s what I’ve done in the past when the cable company wouldn’t lower my bill. I just opened up a new account in her name and saved about $500 a year.
