I’ve been blogging at BaldThoughts.com for the last 3 1/2 years, sharing our family’s travel and personal finance adventures.  The focus has been on creating quality content for the readers and teaching you how to “Travel More. Spend Less. Live Better.”  I’m thankful for everyone who reads my posts, shares with their friends, and supports the site using my affiliate links.  The big news I have to share is that BaldThoughts has joined the BoardingArea family!

What is the BoardingArea family?

BoardingArea is a collection of the biggest and brightest stars in the travel community.  There are a wide variety of topics that each blogger writes about, but it is all centered around improving your travel experiences!

There are so many bloggers within the BoardingArea family that I’ve been reading for years.  Some of my favorites are Mommy Points, Angelina Travels, Travel Codex, View from the Wing, Points Miles and Martinis, Frequent Miler, Travel with Grant, and One Mile at a Time.

I’m excited to learn and improve the BaldThoughts.com experience as I take full advantage of the BoardingArea resources now available to me.  The benefits of this education will definitely be passed along to you, the readers.

How does BaldThoughts fit in?

My good friend Angelina from AngelinaTravels.com introduced me to Randy Peterson, the founder of BoardingArea (and so many other sites) in June 2015.

During some conversations with Randy, I explained how travel and personal finance are so intertwined.  If you don’t have your financial house in order, it’s hard to afford to travel or get approved for credit cards that provide huge sign-on bonuses.  And if you “travel hack” and reduce your travel expenses using miles and points, there’s more money available for you to pay off debt and save for retirement.

So, my focus is teaching readers how to “Travel More. Spend Less. Live Better.”  Join me as we continue the journey.

    • Thanks Charlie! We’re not bald, we’re solar powered. haha Cool review of the Pebble Core. I’ve heard great things about it. Amazing how much tech they can cram into such a tiny device. Have a great weekend.
